If you have been a reader or following me on Insta, you know that kombucha is my obsession since I heard of it from the lovely Jeannette from Shut the kale up. It just became my everyday drink after I noticed how well my tummy would feel after drinking it! I also got the hubby in love with it, so now it’s the beverage we always have at home. My favorite one is the GT’S Classic Synergy in the flavor Trilogy. If you haven’t tried it before, you really should!!
While browsing through Pinterest the other day (what’s new??), I saw a few posts that were called kombucha mimosas and I was like what???? I knew instantly I had to make my own!
- Kombucha (with or without alcohol, it’s your choice)
- Freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
- Fresh grated ginger (depending how spicy you want it is the amount you should add)
This is pretty self explanatory, but I will tell you how I made it. In a shaker I added ice, 4 oz kombucha, 1/2 C grapefruit juice and the ginger. Shake it and serve. Top with a grapefruit slice.
